HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half proved to be a battle defensively as both teams settled in, holding the score to 0-0. Offensively the teams were deadlocked with four shots a piece.
Coming out of the break the Golden Eagles offense began to surge, as they out shot their opponent 6-1 in the second half. Charleston finally got on the board in the 69th minute after Ettore Ballestracci played a ball out to the face of the goal to the foot of Freddy Tracey who put it away for the 1-0 lead.
Charleston carried the momentum for the next 5 minutes to notch their second goal off corner from Christos Charalambous who found the head of Williams N'Dah for the 2-0 lead.
The Golden Eagles held on for the final 15 minutes for the win, and the Super Region 1 title.
