CHARLESTON, W. Va -- The Golden Eagles Women's Soccer team hits the road on Wednesday to square off against the Pioneers of Glenville State with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Charleston (3-3-0, 1-1 MEC) comes off an impressive win on Sunday over MEC foe Wesleyan and looks to continue their winning ways against the Pioneers (2-3-0, 0-1 MEC) who defeated Alderson Broaddus 1-0 over the weekend. The win marked Glenville's first shutout as a member of the NCAA.

Last Game: The Golden Eagles defeated the Bobcats 1-0 on Sunday afternoon behind a lone goal in the 16^th minute from Keira Hill to move to 3-3-0 on the season. The Bobcats, who had not lost to the Golden Eagles since the semifinal round of the 2016 MEC tournament, move to 1-3-0 on the season. UC Goalkeeper Kaylee Hensley who finished the game with four saves.

About the Opposition: An early goal lifted GSU's Women's Soccer team past Alderson Broaddus in a non-conference match up Sunday evening as Leighana Weaver scored from a corner kick by Julia Lesko. Glenville Goalkeeper Morgan Smailes added four saves on the day to shutout the Battlers. In their history, Charleston has gone undefeated in two matchups against the Pioneers while outscoring the opposition 10-0.
