HOW IT HAPPENED
Both Offenses started slowly. The Golden Eagles never trailing in the contest, only holding a 13-7 lead at the end of the first. It took nearly the entire second quarter for the Blues to break double digits, as the Golden Eagles held a 27-15 lead heading into the break.
The Golden Eagles went 6-of-17 from the field in the first half. Led by
Anna Hayton with nine points, and
Brooklyn Pannell with eight before the break. The Golden Eagles held the lead for the second half, never leading by fewer than 14 points.
