AlexiAnn and Meggan William bounced back from yesterday's defeat t Wingate by gaining a quick 6-2 victory. Mely Alverez and Harriet Glaves followed similar suit by defeating their Ragins & Turner 6-2. This saw the girls take the doubles point and gain a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
 
UC then moved into singles play. Aida Montero was next on the board with a win for the eagles, winning in quick fashion 6-0 6-3. With the 6^th spot won by default, UC only needed 1 more win to clinch the match. Meggan William rallied from behind in the first set to come back and defeat Taylor Brooks 6-3 6-1.

UC v. LRU
 
The UC Womens tennis teamed bounced back from yesterdays' defeat v. Wingate to take down a strong Lenoir-Rhyne team on Sunday afternoon. The match began with a high intensity doubles point, in which UC came out on top with a win at the number 1 and 2 doubles spots. Prinkle Singh and Mathilde Simon stormed to a 6-3 win against LRU's Southwick and Luiz. The newly formed duo of Isabella Tiscoria and Haarini Balakrishnan then put up an impressivel performance for the eagles, defeating LRU's number 1 doubles pair.
 
UC took the momentum from the impressive doubles performances into singles play. Barbara Balancho put the first singles point on the board for the eagles, with an impressive 6-3 6-1 win at the #5 spot. Newcomer Isabella Tiscornia then put up a strong performance for the eagles, taking down her LRU opponent to put the eagles up 3-0. It was AlexiAnn Drouin who clinched the match for the eagles, winning 7-5 6-3 at the number #1 spot against Gemma Southwick. Prinkle Singh rallied back and forth at the number #2 spot, before defeating her opponent in a match tiebreak.
