CHARLESTON, W. Va. – The University of Charleston Men's Soccer team took home a 5-1 victory on the road against the Wheeling University Cardinals. Charleston was led offensively by Alejandro Larayoz who tabbed an assist and a goal in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Adrian Camacho got the ball rolling for the Golden Eagles in the eighth minute of the match. The Cardinals evened the score 10 minutes later on a goal from Harry Martin. In the 34th minute it was Larayoz who notched the game winner for Charleston scoring on an assist from Joakim Ostvold.
Sebastian Pavel tallied his sixth goal of the season early on in the second half, before Alex Townley and Eduardo Barros closed out the Charleston scoring.
The Golden Eagles outshot the opposition 21-5 with 10 shots-on-goal. Marc Torrado got the clean sheet after 90 minutes played.

The Golden Eagles will be back home Sunday at 4 p.m. to face the Notre Dame Falcons.
