Charleston, W.Va- The University of Charleston had one lone selection to the Conference Commissioners Association All-Atlantic Regional Team. The Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Year Tyreik McAllister continues to rack up awards after his outstanding season.
 
The veteran Tyreik McAllister came to UC from Latta, South Carolina and attended Latta High School. He earned Mountain Eat Conference Offensive Player of the Week on October 4^th, 2021 after a 261 yard, 3 touchdown game.
 
McAllister had a monster year for the Golden Eagles. He racked up a whopping 1,090 rushing yards in only 9 games, giving him an MEC leading 121 yards per game, which was top 10 in Division II. His 1,090 yards were 23^rd best in DII and he averaged 7.6 yards per carry which led the MEC and placed him top 3 in DII. He was top 18 in Division II with 13 rushing TDs.
 
Tyreik McAllister will wait to see if he will be selected to the All-American team which will be released on December 10, 2021.
