CHARLESTON, W. Va.– The University of Charleston Golden Eagles Women's soccer team took home a 5-0 road win over the Glennville State Pioneers on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Golden Eagles found the net early scoring three of five goals in the first half. Madison Hansen found the net early for Charleston in the sixth minute. Brooke Lucas and Jessica Seaton followed up with the final goals of the half to give the Golden Eagles the 3-0 break heading into the intermission.
After the break Sydney Cavender brought the Golden Eagles lead to 4-0 in the 70th minute, and Shannon Henson rounded out the scoring for the Golden Eagles in the 80th minute of the match.
The Golden Eagles outshot the Pioneers 22-3 putting 15 shots on goal, and held an 8-1 advantage on corner kicks.

The Golden Eagles will travel to West Virginia State next Friday for their regular season finale.
