How it Happened:
The University of Charleston Women's tennis team bounced back after dropping a tough doubles point at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, FL. Despite needing to gain 4 out of 6 singles matches, the Golden Eagles rose to the challenge. AlexiAnn Drouin was first to put a point on the board for UC, defeating Rafaella Fulup 6-2 6-1. Barbara Balancho and Meggan William battled through adversity to defeat their opponents in straight sets. This put UC up 3-2. It would be Prinkle Singh who would clinch the match yet again, defeating Elizaveta Velichko 6-3, 7-6(1).
