Frostburg, Md. - The UC women's tennis team had a successful day on Saturday, gaining wins over Millersville and Frostburg State University.

How it Happened:
Despite windy conditions, UC was able to gain the doubles point and put themselves up 1-0 with wins from Singh/William and Swann/Glaves.
Heading into singles, Prinkle Singh gained yet another straight sets victory this season, defeating Jasmine Morris 6-0 6-1. AlexiAnn Drouin would follow, dropping just 5 games on her way to defeating Maria Ojeda 6-3 6-2. With Barbara Balancho dropping a tough 3 set match, all eyes were on Meggan William. William fought back from a set down to gain the clinch for UC. The senior defeated Julie Wallace 1-6, 6-3, 6-3.

How it Happened:
Following their win over Millersille, the golden eagles took to the courts yet again. In doubles UC gained convincing wins on all three courts. RaeAnne Reed and Aida Montero took to the courts for the first time as a pairing this semester, they gained a 6-2 victory over the Bobcats. AlexiAnn Drouin and Emelina Alverez also paired up for the first time, dropping just one game on their way to a victory on court #2.
The Golden Eagles were quick to put singles wins on the board. AlexiAnn Drouin did not drop a single game on her way to defeating Immanuellla Odiong 6-0 6-0. Prinkle Singh was next gain a win, putting UC up 3-0. Freshman, Harriet Glaves was back in action on the singles court, Glaves defeated Rabiatu Ladan 6-0 6-2.
Due to inclement weather, the match was stopped once it was clinched by UC.
