Charleston, W.Va. - Charleston sweeps the Bobcats 7-0 on senior day

How it Happened:
The Golden Eagles women's tennis team put up an impressive performance on senior day to sweep Wesleyan. Seniors AlexiAnn Drouin and Meggan William shone with an impressive 6-1 victory at the #1 line. Katie Swann and Harriet Glaves would clinch the doubles point with a victory over Symons/Osborne, 6-3. In their first MEC match of the year as a pair, RaeAnne Reed and Emelina Alvarez also gained a 6-4 victory.
Heading into singles, Prinkle Singh wasted no time on her way to defeating Wesleyan's Sakamonto 6-0 6-1. Singh remains undefeated in conference play this year. Seniors Drouin, William, Swann and Lopez also put straight set victories on the board for UC. Finally, sophomore Barbara Balancho rallied back and forth before defeating Alanis Alvarez 6-1 3-6 10-4.
