Women's Golf Finishes 15 at NC4K Invite in Blacklick Ohio

BLACKLICK, Ohio – The Golden Eagle women's golf team placed 15th at the NC4K invite hosted by Ohio Dominican at Jefferson Country Club.

Findlay dominated the tournament from day one shooting a stellar 301 team total in the first round of the event. Day two was even more superb as the Oilers blew away the competition combining for a total of 288 on day two for a two day total of 589.

UC struggled on day one and found themselves in an early hole after shooting a combined 357 in the opening round. Victoria Witouski was one of only two Golden Eagles to break 90 on day one as she shot an 85. Beatrice Dietz struggled on day one as well but managed to muster an opening round 87 followed by a final round 79. Dietz would be the only Charleston representative in the top 50 of the tournament.

UC improved in round two as conditions were more favorable but ultimately finished 15th, dropping one spot from the previous day. Although the ladies finished day two shooting a 341 it would not be enough to crack the top 10.

UC will return to action on Sunday, April 10 as they travel to Walsh to compete in the Cav Classic hosted by Walsh University.
