Charleston 4 West Liberty 1
Charleston got off to a slow start in the doubles portion of the match. West Liberty won both third doubles and first doubles. Although Charleston was leading at second doubles, the match was unfinished because West Liberty won the doubles point.
Behind by a point, the Golden Eagles singles players knew that they need to push hard and play well in order to come from behind and win to secure a place in the sweet 16. Alyssa Cameron (#4) made quick work of her opponent in less than an hour tying the match score at 1-1. Filippa Larsson took the second match for Charleston at number 3 singles by a score of 6-3, 6-2. At first singles, Prinkle Singh got the 3rd point for Charleston with a score of 6-4, 6-2. The women needed on more point to secure the win. Sofiia Krasikova, Riva Hondiashvili and Barbara Balancho all went into the third set. It was Riva who would ultimate clinch the match at fifth singles with a final score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-0.

Head Coach Alec Foote said "The ladies have worked very hard all season to get to this point and now i'm excited to see how the compete at the next level at Nationals in Orlando.
