Buckhannon, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles fell to West Virginia Wesleyan on the road on Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened:
The Mountain East Conference matchup between the Bobcats and the Golden Eagles was scoreless in the first half. Both teams had chances to score but neither team could muster up a goal as they went to the locker rooms at halftime scoreless.
The Bobcats were awarded three yellow cards in the half to three different players.
In the second half, Charleston was first to strike as
Jose Suarez Monaco scored the first goal of the match in the fifty-eighth minute. Just two minutes later West Virginia Wesleyan found the equalizer and knotted the score at 1-1.
In the next twenty minutes, Charleston had three shots on goal, but two saves by the goalie and one team save kept the Golden Eagles off the board. The deciding goal came in the seventy- sixth minute from Wesleyans Erik Rostoen. The go-ahead goal was the decider in the victory for the Bobcats over the Golden Eagles.
