Columbus, Ohio. – The Golden Eagles Women's Golf team tied for ninth at the Champions of Women's Golf Invitational.

How it Happened:
The Charleston Golden Eagles Women's Golf team traveled to Ohio Dominican's home course, Champions Golf Course for the Champions of Women's Golf Invitational. Charleston found themselves tied for seventh place after round one, shooting a 315 as a team. On day two, Charleston shot a 323 to find themselves tied for ninth.
Ines Fernandez finished in the top twenty of the tournament, shooting a 154 (+14) through two rounds. Fernandez shot an impressive 75 (+5) in round one to lead the team. Lucia Martin and Iciar Canalejo both shot a 161 followed by Tess Dietz who shot a 164. Lauren Besford (166) and Gabrielle Harrison (168) rounded out the lineup for Charleston.
