Charleston got off to an impressive start winning at #1 and #2 doubles, clinching the doubles point. #3 doubles were unfinished with Charleston leading 5-4 in the set.
Transitioning into singles play, Charleston maintained their momentum with a swift start. Nationally ranked #11, Prinkle Singh, showcased her caliber with a resounding 6-3, 6-2 triumph at the #1 position. This triumph set the stage for further Charleston victories, including an impressive 6-2, 6-2 win at #3 singles by Filippa Larsson. Despite a valiant effort from sophomore Sofiia Krasikova at #2 singles, who narrowly fell short in a fiercely contested match ending 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
The match was sealed in style at #5 singles, as sophomore Riva Hondiashvili exhibited her prowess with a commanding 6-2, 6-3 victory over her adversary. The battles at #4 and #6 singles remained unfinished, with Charleston leading in both spots.
