The singles battles commenced with the Golden Eagles soaring to an early advantage, courtesy of a stellar performance by the nationally ranked #11 player, Prinkle Singh, who delivered a commanding 6-2, 6-1 victory at the #1 position, propelling the team to a 2-0 lead. Despite Tusculum's spirited fightback, securing wins at #2 and #3 singles to level the match at 2-2, the Golden Eagles remained undeterred.

We displayed tremendous energy and focus, seizing control of the matches. In singles, there are lessons to be learned about closing out matches effectively when in the lead.
