Kutztown, Pa. – Charleston falls to Kutztown 2-0 on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Keystone Field.

How it Happened:
The home team Golden Bears got things started early with a goal in the fourth minute of the match. Moments later Charleston's Cassidy Collins took a shot at goal, but a save on the high shot kept the Golden Eagles off the board. In the next minute Charleston had two more shots but could not find the back of the net on either.
In the next several minutes, Charleston's Jordan Maynard was forced to save three Kutztown attempts, keeping the deficit to 1-0, Charleston trailing.
The Golden Bears found the back of the net once again in the 26
th minute on a low shot to the right corner, taking the 2-0 lead over Charleston.
Charleston had two late shots from Demari Curry in the 44
th minute, but both shots were saved by the Golden Bear goalie, sending the teams into the half with Kutztown leading 2-0.
As the rain fell in the second half, the Golden Eagles took three more shots at the goal but as they could not find the back of the net, the Golden Bears took the match with a 2-0 victory.
