Biography

High School:
· Named captain for Caravel Academy her junior and senior seasons
· Lead the Buccaneers to a state championship in her senior season
· Helped the Bucs to State Semi-Finalist and State Runner Up finishes in 2018 and 2019
· During her team’s championship run in 2021, Danielle hit .358 with 15 RBIs and 3 homers
· Was also called upon to pitch her senior season compiling a 7-2 record
· Was the leading homerun hitter for both her high school and club teams
· Led the Delaware Magic in homers and was second in batting average and on base percentage
· On the Honor Roll all four years at Caravel

Personal:
· Daughter of Lois DeBenedictis, Danielle has an older brother, Jarrett
· Her half-brother Jason DeBenedictis played football at Catholic University
· Majoring in Nursing
· She chose UC because she always wanted to go to a smaller school with a great nursing program and a competitive softball team that works hard and wants to win. Charleston offers all those things along with great staff, professors, and coaches…as well as teammates that already have become sisters. The University is all -around, a great place to go to school while still feeling at home 7 hours away!
