2009 (Freshman): Amanda started every game during her freshman season as the left back.

Before Charleston: A 5 foot-6 midfielder/defender from Boston, Massachusetts. Amanda played club soccer for the 2008 National Champion MPS Cape Cod Lady Crusaders. The Lady Crusaders were: National Semi-Finalists in 2007, Super Y League New England Champions in 2007& 2008, US Club Regional Finalists in 2006, 2007 & 2008 and Mass State Cup semi-Finalists in 2009. As a player for Marshfield HS, the team was MA South Finalists in 2005, 2006 and Semi-Finalists in 2007, 2008. Amanda excelled in Track & Field at Marshfield HS. With National Championship qualification in 2008, 2009 (DMR, 4xmile) and State Championship qualification in 2007, 2008, 2009 (1 mile, 2 mile, 4x400m) the team was Old Colony League Champions in 2005 and Atlantic Coast League Champions in 2006. Amanda was recognized as an Atlantic Coast League All-Star and served as the team captain. Amanda is also a member of the National Honors Society, Who’s Who among High School Scholars; Claes Nobel’s National Society for High School Scholars and was a member of the Key Club. 

Personal: Daughter of John and Dottie Megnia…Born October 7, 1990…Has two siblings (John and Maria)…Majoring in Nursing.
