FALL SHOWCASE: OCTOBER 15 - CLICK HERE TO FOR MORE INFORMATION OR TO REGISTER

Head Coach Michelle Frew announced that the University of Charleston softball program will host its inaugural Fall Showcase will take place on Saturday, October 15th with check-in running from 7:45-8:00am for the full day event.

All registrants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills throughout the day including two games with regulation umpires. It is anticipated that the event will take place on the program's brand-new softball field opening this fall! Participants will be able to meet and interact with current UC players and have the chance to tour the beautiful University of Charleston campus. Athletes will also receive a Golden Eagle softball shirt to wear throughout the event. This is a major recruiting event for Coach Frew and her staff.

UC softball participated in the NCAA DII College World Series in 2016 and continues to have success on the field under Coach Frew. In her first season, UC players have achieved some historical milestones. Hannah Rose was the first Golden Eagle ever to be named an NFCA first-team All-American. She was also the first player in Charleston's history to be named Conference Player of the Year. Another first for the program occurred in back-to-back weeks in March when Rose and Emma Groe had monstrous offensive performances that resulted in the program's first-ever NFCA Player of the Week awards. Additionally, Dani Bauer twirled the first perfect game for UC since 2015!
