Scragg a graduate of UC is currently the head golf professional at Edgewood Country Club in Sissonville. He graduated UC with a master's degree in strategic leadership in 2021 and is in his first year as assistant coach of both the Men's and Women's Golf teams. 

David used his final year of eligibility and played as the number three in the Men's Golf lineup for most of the 2021-2022 season. He was a part of the Men's Golf team that made an appearence in the NCAA DII National Championships held at TPC Michigan in Detroit, MI.
