Jackson Meadows joins the UC Softball program for a second year under Coach Frew. Meadows coached first base for the No. 19 Golden Eagles helping the team to a 45-12 record. UC won its first-ever MEC Conference Tournament Championship to earn their first-ever automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Golden Eagles went on to become regional champions before falling in game three of the Super-Regional tournament.

Meadows was a pitcher for Coastal Alabama Community College where he earned his Associate’s degree. During his time there, he served as a manager with the softball team.

Coaching softball was not a stretch for Meadows as he has three sisters that played in college with all three earning All-American honors. Two of his sisters played for Coach Frew, and all three are successful coaches.

A graduate from Daphne High School (Ala) Meadows is majoring in Exercise Science and plans to go into personal training upon graduation. In his time off, Jackson enjoys fishing and being outside
