My why-
I am a first generation Arab-American Muslim who is looking to represent not just myself but a whole village who has helped me get to where I am. I want to be the reason someone believes they can attain their biggest goals in life. The reason someone nails the game winning three with confidence because of all the work we put in behind the scenes. And most importantly, the reason someone whispers to themselves at night, “if she did, I can too.”
Rana has coordinated and spearheaded 2 food drives at both universities where they raised over 2,000 pounds of food at UB and over 1,000 at Edinboro.
Rana is the daughter of Anwar El-Husseini and Sawssan Haidar. She has one brother Jad and has three sisters Jana, Rawan, and Sulaf.
