2009 (Freshman): Katie started one game during her freshman season as an outside defender.

Before Charleston: A 5 foot-4 defender from Wexford, Pennsylvania. Katie played club soccer for the Arsenal Football Club of PA U19’s since her sophomore year in HS. Katie was the youngest player selected to the side. Arsenal was 2007 and 2008 Spring Kickoff Runner-Ups NC Soccer Hudson, 2007 PA West State Cup Finalists and 2008 NOSO International Soccer Finalists. As a member of Vincentian Academy, Katie received Defender-of-the-Year honors by her team in 2005 and 2006. In 2007and 2008 as the team captain, Katie received WPIAL Defender-of-the-Year honors and 1^st team All American recognition. An accomplished lacrosse goalie, Katie broke the school record for the most recorded section saves and helped Vincentian advance to the WPIAL playoffs for the first time in school history.
