University of Charleston Athletics

Michelle Knight has been joined the University of Charleston Women’s Tennis Team as an Assistant Coach since moving to West Virginia in 2015. She also works as an Assistant Professor at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy, and Clinical Pharmacist at a family medicine clinic and endocrinology practice in Charleston. Michelle is originally from Ohio but obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 2013 and went on to complete two years of post-graduate training in Florida.

Michelle played Division III collegiate tennis at Wilkes University for the first four years and served as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the men’s and women’s tennis teams during the last two years of her degree. During her time on the Wilkes University Women’s Tennis Team, Michelle served as team captain, participated in the NCAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and received awards for the Middle Atlantic Conference all-sportsmanship team, athlete of the week, athlete of the month, Freedom Conference champion, and NCAA nationals participant.
