Ruben Acuna will begin his first season as the Assistant Coach for the Men's Tennis in the 2024-2025 season.

Prior to begining his coaching journey, Acuna finished his collegiate career at the University of Charleston where he was the captain of the men’s tennis team and contributed to the teams victory in the Mountain East Conference (MEC), securing the title of Conference Champions in 2024, and Atlantic Region Champions in 2024.

Acuna spent his earlier collegiate days at Pennsylvania Western University, where he was an active member of the men's tennis team, playing in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). He contributed to the team's success, earning the title of Team Conference Champions in 2021, 2022, and 2023, as well as Team Atlantic Region Champions in 2022.

The Palma de Mallorca, Spain, native completed high school at Aula Balear in Spain. He then pursued his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania Western University from 2019 to 2023, majoring in Economics with a minor in Chemistry. Acuna will continue his academic journey as he will begin his MBA in Management at UC starting in 2024.
