Gyöngyvér Araczki enters her first season as an assistant coach for the University of Charleston women's volleyball program.
A native of Békéscsaba, Hungary, Araczki joins the Golden Eagles after serving as the head coach of Legacy Volleyball Club's 16U team, where she led all aspects of player development, practice planning, and match preparation while helping athletes develop their technical skills and competitive mindset.
Gyöngyvér brings an accomplished international and collegiate playing background to Charleston. She was a member of the Hungarian U17 National Team and competed in the MEVZA Cup. At the club level, she helped BRSE capture the Hungarian U19 National Championship.
She began her collegiate career at Cowley College, where she competed from 2021–22. As a sophomore team captain, she earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region honors in both seasons while setting the program's career attack percentage record (.455). She helped lead the Tigers to back-to-back conference championships and consecutive NJCAA National Tournament appearances.
Araczki concluded her playing career at the University of South Carolina Aiken from 2023–24. In her junior season, she earned Peach Belt Conference Second Team All-Conference honors after leading the conference in hitting percentage and helped guide the Pacers to an NCAA Division II Tournament appearance. As a senior, she earned CSC Academic All-District honors and was named to the Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction before graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
She brings energy, positivity, and a passion for developing student-athletes. Gyöngyvér is committed to fostering a competitive, team-first culture while helping players reach their full potential both on and off the court.
