Born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Kaila Cobbs has always had a deep-rooted love for her hometown. Her academic journey began at Marshall University and Bridgevalley Technical and Community College in 2011 and 2012. In 2015 Cobbs transitioned into the dental field earning an Associate degree in Health Science from West Virginia Junior College that same year.
In December 2023, Cobbs embarked on a new chapter at the University of Charleston, immersing herself into the vibrant community she had long admired. Over the past five years, Cobbs has found immense joy in supporting UC sports and contributing to the campus atmosphere.
Discovering a profound sense of community at UC, Kaila is enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead and eager to see where this path will lead. Outside of academics and work, Cobbs cherishes her time traveling and spending moments with friends, finding balance and inspiration in these experiences.
Cobbs is the proud mother to her fur baby Meeko Suave, meow.
