Katie Ciuffreda enters her first year with the Athletic Communications department in the fall of 2026. Prior to this role, Katie worked as the Head Student Statistician for Ursinus College Athletic Communications, inputting games for soccer, basketball, football, volleyball, lacrosse, and baseball.Â
Katie played softball collegiately at Ursinus College for 3 years, being named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll twice. During the 2023 season, the team had a record of 29-14 and reached the conference championship where Katie recorded her first collegiate hit. During her time at Ursinus, Katie served as a Campus Captain for The Hidden Opponent, attended the Snell-Shillingford Symposium for women's leadership in sports, and served as the Event Director for Girls and Women in Sports Day. She graduated from Ursinus College in the spring of 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics with minors in both Management Studies and Coaching. Katie completed honors research during her senior year, completing a thesis on Major League Baseball's pitch clock.Â
Katie is pursuing a Master's of Science in Business and Data Analytics.Â
