University of Charleston Athletics

Makayla Stowers enters her first year with the sports medicine department as an assistant athletic trainer. Prior to working here, she worked at Winthrop University with the women’s soccer team and track and field. 

Makayla received her undergraduate degree in athletic training from WVU in 2023. Stowers then attended Winthrop University where she was a graduate assistant and received her master’s degree in sports and fitness administration.
