Emmalee Luther (Fort Pierce, Fla./John Carroll) recorded 11 kills in 19 attempts as she led the Golden Eagles volleyball team to a 3-0 win over NAIA opponent Mountain State, Friday night.
The Golden Eagles controlled the match from the opening serve as they rolled past the Cougars by scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-23.

Brenna Youlton (Ontario, Canada/John McGregor) had her second-best game of the season by putting 7 kills on the board, while only being charged with two attack errors. Senior
Katie Williams (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) continued to put the Golden Eagles in great position with 24 sets on the evening.
Charleston returns to the court on the road Monday, October 4 for a 6:00pm match against conference opponent Alderson-Broaddus.
