BLUEFIELD, W.Va. - Seniors Emmalee Luther and Chantal Hebron closed the final regular season WVIAC match with double-digit kills as they led the University of Charleston volleyball team past Bluefield State 3-0, Wednesday evening.

Hebron led all players with a .478 attack percentage in the match as she recorded 13 kills and just two attack errors in 23 attempts. Luther followed close behind with 11 kills and two assists on the evening.

Charleston was never threatened in the match winning by scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-17 to cruise to their third-straight WVIAC win and close the season tied with Alderson-Broaddus for the third spot in the conference at 11-3 (17-9 overall).

The Golden Eagles end the regular season on Friday, November 5 with a 6:00 pm match against Bluefield (Va.). Before the contest the UC volleyball team will recognize Luther and Hebron for their outstanding careers as Golden Eagles to celebrate Senior Day.
