CANTON, Ohio - Harry Machacha (Germiston, South Africa / Tyler J.C.) scored with about eight minutes left to give the No. 8 ranked University of Charleston a 2-1 win Wednesday over Malone in a men's soccer action.

Dion Peters (Trincity, Trinidad / EL Dorado Secondary) chipped in a goal for the Golden Eagles (5-1-1) off a long pass from Marshall Ngobidi (Nassau, Bahamas / Southwest Mississippi CC) for his fourth goal of the season. Peters is now tied with Rob Vincent (Liverpool, England / Prescot School) for the team scoring lead.

UC's Sean Teepen (Cincinnati, OH / Oak Hills High School) made four saves in a game delayed 15 minutes by lightning.

The Golden Eagles return to action Saturday, September 25 on the road at Seton Hill for a 4:00 pm matchup.
