CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The University of Charleston's Stephanie Rossman has posted impressive numbers this season for the Golden Eagles.
The pitcher currently leads the WVIAC with 279 strike outs while pitching in 236 innings this year.
"She takes the mound with control,” says UC assistant coach Andrea Lewis, ”and whenever she is in that circle she is bound and determined to hit that spot; she will make you chase and hit her pitch."
Its Rossman's winning mentality that has allowed her to once again top the charts with 39 games for UC and starting in every one of them.
The senior still has a conference tournament to take care of as the Golden Eagles will be the six seed. But even after she is done at UC, she says she will never be too far from the game she puts her heart into with every pitch.
