UC Women Get Back on Track with Win over Urbana

 Urbana, Ohio -On a windy, rain soaked Tuesday, the Golden Eagles traveled to play the Blue Knights in Ohio.

UC senior Holly Bigg would score the first goal of the match just ten minutes in. Urbana would answer and score on their lone shot of the match. A ball was pushed through the UC defense and past the out coming UC keeper Zoe Zyta.  The score would remain 1-1 at halftime and the weather would deteriorate. 

UC scored three second half goals to win 4-1 on the day. Courtney Underwood scored her first career goal for Charleston and junior, Lauren Haven scored two of her own. UC dominated possession and improved to 7-5-1 overall.

The Golden Eagles return home to play the Hilltoppers of West Liberty on Saturday at 2pm.
