South Euclid, Ohio - UC traveled to South Euclid, Ohio to play the MEC top ranked Falcons on Tuesday and suffered a tough 1-0 loss in a battle between the Mountain East's top two teams. 

On an overcast day with intermittent rain, the game would remain 0-0 entering halftime.  Both teams would have a handful of chances with the Falcons having the better of them.  Five minutes into the second half, Jilian Doss would score the only goal of the contest. 

Notre Dame held the advantage in shots taken 14 to 4.  UC keeper, Zoe Zyta recorded five saves and the Falcon net minder Samantha Shoemaker recorded two.

UC's next match is on Saturday, October 11^th at Trace Fork fields against Shepherd at noon.
