CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The University of Charleston Women's Volleyball team swept UVA- Wise 25-17, 25-20, and 25-21 in three sets Friday night. 

After falling behind 1-8 in the first set, the Lady Eagles fought back to take the first set 25-17, with the key moment being Samantha Scripter (Knoxville, TN) 10 point serving tear.  The two teams fought back and forth through the next two sets, but the Golden Eagles were able to keep the lead throughout most of the two sets and ended up finishing strong to win all three straight.

Randi Estrada (Keaau, HI) led the Golden Eagles with 11 kills and four blocks.  Clairissa Larry (University Heights, OH) and Payton Logan (Brentwood, TN) both earned nine kills each while Logan also led the team with 17 digs.
           
UVA-Wise was led by Karley Allen with nine kills and 15 digs. Lindsey Tucker and Erin Anderson both had five kills, and Brittni Altmann earned 10 digs.
           
The Golden Eagles will be playing Concord University on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Eddie King Gym.
