Philipi, W.Va. - The University of Charleston Women's Volleyball Team beat Alderson-Broaddus Tuesday evening, increasing their run to a 9-game win streak. The non-conference match went four sets with the first two sets going to UC 25-17 and 25-21. AB fought back in the third set winning 28-26. The last set went to UC 25-14.UC played a well rounded offense with Shiann White earning 10 kills and 12 digs. Mia Herrod hit a .400 hitting percentage with 15 kills and had five blocks. Jordan Wittekind earned 12 kills, four aces, and two blocks. Lastly, Randi Estrada earned eight kills and six blocks. UC's team hitting percentage was .273 for the match. UC is currently #23 in the Nation for their NCAA Division II team hitting percentage and should move up a couple spots with tonight's hitting percentage.
UC will play again Friday evening at West Liberty University in a MEC conference match at 7pm.
