CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Charleston Baseball earned a midweek doubleheader sweep of Bluefield State Monday afternoon at Triana Field by the scores of 8-5 and 11-6 in a non-conference matchup.

Kaleb Kinder worked six innings to pick up his second win of the season in game one of the series. Â Kinder gave up five runs on seven Blue hits while striking out two in his fourth start as a Golden Eagle. Â

Tristan Fields plated two Golden Eagles to lead the offensive attack.
Charleston took a commanding 6-0 lead to give UC pitcher
David Webb all of the run support he needed to get his second win of 2015 after the 11-6 victory to complete the sweep. Â Webb threw five strong innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out five Bluefield batters. Â Ocker continued his solid day at the plate, going 3-for-3 and drove in one to give him four RBI's on the day. Â

Logan Valentine each added a pair of RBI's in the five-run win.
Charleston (10-16, 7-15 MEC) travels to Glenville this weekend to play the Pioneers in a four-game Mountain East Conference series. Â
