URBANA, Ohio – The University of Charleston women's basketball team collected a 76-60 road victory over Urbana on Thursday evening in a Mountain East matchup.
 
The Golden Eagles received a big night from both Abby Watson and Jordyn Peck as they both tallied 18 points apiece. Watson finished five for eight from the field while also grabbing six rebounds and Peck added three assists and two rebounds. Octavia Loll and Mya Walker each finished with 10 points with a combined six assists. Darian Apperson recorded a game-high 10 rebounds, a season-high for the senior.
 
UC dominated in the paint, outscoring the Blue Knights 28-18. The Golden Eagles bench also had a dominant night, topping Urbana 24-6.
 
With the win, Charleston now improves to 3-4 overall with a 2-1 mark in Mountain East action. Urbana falls to 2-3 overall with an 0-3 record in conference play.
 
The Golden Eagles return to the hardwood on Saturday, December 3 when they travel to take on Notre Dame College at 2:00 p.m.
