VIENNA, W.Va. – The University of Charleston men's basketball team defeated Ohio Valley for the second time this season with a 76-42 victory on Satruday evening in a non-confernece matchup.

The Golden Eagles received another double-double from Justin Coleman after the senior tallied 14 points and 12 rebounds. Shaq Speights and LeJavius Johnson each added 12 points while Keir Anderson chipped in 10. Delvon Rencher had a solid game after scoring eight points and grabbing nine rebounds.

UC had a little trouble from three-point-range, finishing the night 3-20 but made up for it with a 43.8 percent shooting percentage from the floor. The Golden Eagles outrebounded Ohio Valley 49-39 and also dominated the Fighting Scots in bench points (30-14).

Charleston now has an overall record of 9-1 as the team enters Mountain East play for the remainder of the season.

The Golden Eagles will return to the hardwood on Tuesday, January 3 as they travel to take on Wheeling Jesuit.Â
