The Toppers outlasted Charleston 28-26 to take a one-set lead into the fourth and eventually final set.
Again, Charleston held a slim lead late in the fourth, only to see the hosts once again steal the set by scoring six straight points helped by three UC attack errors. West Liberty would end up taking the set, 25-21, and hand Charleston their second loss in MEC play.
