RALEIGH, N.C. – The University of Charleston (5-5, 0-0 MEC) fell to No. 10 Lenoir-Rhyne (21-2) on Sunday morning on the final day of the Shaw University Tournament.

-S. Kenley homered sending two other runners home bringing the score to 3-0 Lenoir-Rhyne. Parks retired the first three Golden Eagle batters.
-Both teams went scoreless in the second inning. During the top of the Lenoir-Rhyne saw now runners cross home plate. At the bottom of the third Rachelle Toppings grounded out, but sent Stanley home for the Golden Eagles' only score of the game.
-Both teams went scoreless in the last four innings. Lenoir-Rhyne held onto the two run advantage to top the Golden Eagles 3-1.
UP NEXT
-Charleston will travel to Clermont, FL for a three-day tournament. The Golden Eagles will face Caldwell University in game one on March 13 at 3:30 p.m.
