It took Charleston 20 minutes to get on the board as Patrick Guier gave the #1 ranked Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead after receiving a pass from the left wing from Armando Tikvic. Guier collected the ball in middle of the box and finished from 15 yards out to put UC ahead. Charleston dominated possession the entire match and was peppering the Jesuit goal with shots, outshooting the Cardinals 29-3 for the match, but couldn't slip one past the WJU keeper. It wasn't until the closing seconds when UC earned a corner, setting up N'Dah's heriocs in the final moments. Keiran Bywater whipped in a dangerous ball into the middle of the six, allowing N'Dah to rise and attack the driven ball, powering it past the Cardinal defense with :04 left on the clock. The Golden Eagle bench erupted, celebrating with their team at the midfield stripe.
The final seconds ticked down, giving UC the 2-1 road Mountain East Conference win.
