ERIE, Pa – The No. 2 University of Charleston men's soccer team ended their opening weekend with a 2-0 victory over Gannon University on Saturday night.

 How it Happened
-In the final minutes of the first half, Ettore Ballestracci took a rebound off the Gannon goal keeper to find the net and give UC the 1-0 lead.
-In the opening minutes of the second half, Leon Kroiss found the ball off a corner kick by Kieran Bywater to give the Golden Eagles the 2-0 advantage.
-The Golden Knights were unable to answer giving UC the 2-0 victory.
