CHARLESTON, WV. – The University of Charleston's women's basketball team fell to Notre Dame College in Mountain East Conference play on Saturday evening in the Wehrle Innovation Center 67-57.

How it Happened
UC scored just seven points in the first quarter of the game, trailing by five to the Notre Dame Fighting Falcons. After the second quarter the Golden Eagle's own Abby Watson lead UC in points and rebounds ending the first half with nine points and four rebounds. The Golden Eagles led for 54.6% of the game while the Fighting Falcons only lead for 36.8%. UC also lead in rebounds with 34 and defensive rebounds with 21. It was not until the fourth quarter of the game that UC let go of their lead and fell to NDC. UC gave up four more turnovers than the Fighting Falcons and had a lower free throw percentage of 10%.
