CHARLESTON, WV – Charleston Women's Soccer added another win to their record on Sunday afternoon, after defeating the Cardinals from Wheeling Jesuit 4-0.

How it Happened
The Golden Eagles did not waste any time on Sunday afternoon, putting a goal in the back of the net, only 11 minutes into play. Freshmen dynamic duo Roberta Pomi and Keira Hill worked together up the field, with Hill crossing one into Pomi for the first goal of the day.
As the Golden Eagles continued to keep possession of the ball, freshman defender Jessica Seaton gave Charleston their second goal of the day, firing one from more than 30 yards, giving UC a 2-0 lead. Charleston wasn't done yet, with Roberta Pomi getting her second goal of the day, with another assist from Keira Hill. The Golden Eagles led 3-0 heading into the half, outshooting the Cardinals 11 to 3.
The second half of play was even between the two sides, as both teams battled to keep possession of the ball. The Golden Eagles continued to attack the Cardinals defense, with senior Claire Couturier giving UC their first goal of the second half, with a pass from Keira Hill, her third assist of the game. Charleston led 4-0 for the last 30 minutes of play, beating WJU 4-0, and continuing their winning streak.
