CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles fell on Sunday afternoon, after a long battle with Notre Dame College, giving up a goal in the last three minutes of play, losing 1-0.

How it Happened
Charleston was left with a loss added on to their record on Saturday afternoon, after losing to the Falcons from Notre Dame 1-0. The game between the two sides started out evenly, with both teams having forward momentum and scoring opportunities. The match remained scoreless heading into the half, with even play from the Golden Eagles and Falcons.
Heading into the second half, the Golden Eagles came out with fire and a lot of offensive play. This, however, was not enough to break the Falcons' defense, keeping the game scoreless. Notre Dame found a last minute burst of energy, scoring the game winning goal with 3:19 left on the clock. Charleston couldn't find the back of the net in these last three minutes, falling to Notre Dame 1-0.
