CHARLESTON, W.Va. – No. 4 Charleston (16-0-2, 13-0-1 MEC) downed the Urbana Blue Knights (8-7-3, 7-4-3 MEC) 3-0 in the MEC Semi Final. The Golden Eagles were led by Ettore Ballestracci with two goals.

How it Happened
In the eleventh minute Willie N'Dah slid the ball across the box to Ettore Ballestracci who put the ball away for the Golden Eagles giving them the 1-0 lead over the Blue Knights.
 
To open the second half, Ballestracci took a back heal pass from Gabriel Cabral and drove the ball into the net putting the Golden Eagles up 2-0. An own goal with 1:25 remaining in regulation gave UC the 3-0 advantage, lifting them to their 10^th straight MEC title game.
 
The Golden Eagles continue their 23-game unbeaten streak heading into the final on Saturday against the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals, who upset the Notre Dame Falcons 5-4 in PKs earlier today.
