How it Happened
The Rams jumped ahead to an early lead in the opening minutes of the first quarter. A quick layup by Gracie Roberts with five minutes to go tied the game up at 10-10. The quarter would see three more lead changes ending with a pair of free throws by Madison Jones to give UC the 16-15 lead.
The game remained tight until the Golden Eagles took back the lead midway through the second quarter. Charleston clung to their lead to close the third quarter up 33-29.
Charleston began to pull away in the third quarter, leading by as many as 18 points before the close.
Heading into the fourth Charleston posted a 62-45 lead on the Rams. Charleston held on to win 85-71, never letting go of their lead to end the fourth.
